Keyhaven Quay Lesson Information
Thank you for booking your lesson with us.
Your lesson will be from our container at Keyhaven Quay
Please see image below and read the key information to find us.
On the day of your lesson please meet your instructor by our container in the West Solent Boat Builders Yard at Keyhaven Quay.
The post code for Keyhaven Quay car park is SO41 0TR
There is a long stay pay and display car park for parking and payment is by loose change, Ringo or New Forest Long Stay Parking clocks.
There is also pay and display short stay (Max of 3 Hours) along the edge of Keyhaven Quay as shown by the 2 arrows on the image above.
We do have limited phone signal so we would recommend bringing loose change for parking.
In busy times parking can be difficult so please leave plenty of time to park or alternatively park in Milford on Sea and walk to Keyhaven this can take 30 - 40 min approx.
Please make sure you have parked and arrive 5 - 10 mins before your lesson this should give you plenty of time to get ready and keep groups from mixing.
You will need to come into the West Solent Boat Builders Yard.
During there opening times the gates will be open and you must watch out for boats moving and follow their staffs instruction. When the yards main gates are closed you will need to come in through the small wooden gate show in the image below.
During our busy periods we will not be able to wait for late arrivals as this impacts on other groups. Please notify us if you will be running late by calling us on 01590 645270
West Solent Boat Builders has a small shop offering coffee, ice creams and snacks
during their opening hours.
There are public toilet facilities to use at Keyhaven in the car park but we recommend getting changed before coming to us for your lesson.
You will need to use the public toilets for getting changed as we don't have our own changing room.
So please come wearing clothing and footwear you are happy to get wet and take part in.
During warmer months we recommend light weight quick drying clothing
and a change of clothes for after your lesson.
If you have your own wetsuit and equipment we would recommend wearing your own.
If you wish to use one of our wetsuits we have a range of sizes available to us free of charge.
We can't guarantee offering you a dry wetsuit as they have all been washed after use.
Footwear for the lesson is essential and can be old trainers or beach shoes
that you are happy to get wet.
If you require any items we do sell a range of watersports equipment including shoes, gloves, wetsuits, changing robes and accessories which can be viewed and purchased here
You can use your 5% dicount code on checkout which you have received on the confirmation email after your booking and collect the items on the day.
We have storage in our container for any items you wish to keep dry and leave secure whilst you are on your lesson such as car keys, mobile phones, dry clothes etc.
