Service Description
A 2 hour single kayak hire at Keyhaven Quay. The Keyhaven area is a stunning location with lots of bird life and views over the solent across to the Isle of Wight and a 2 hour kayak hire is the perfect way to explore! Our kayak hires are designed for novice to proficient paddler alike. For novices we recommend paddling around the beautiful marshes and Mount Lake before returning up the Keyhaven River, whilst proficient paddlers may want to paddle up to Hurst Castle for a coffee before paddling back. We recommend you have kayaked before heading out on a hire but we will give you a basic safety briefing before you head off on the water. The youngest we recommend paddling their own kayak is 8 years old as long as they have had previous experience. For younger children we recommend using a double kayak. We have buoyancy aids which will fit 5 years + but if you have your own and wish to take a younger child on the water you are more than welcome. You will be required to have at least 1 over 18 on the water who will be responsible whilst on your hire. All our kayaks come complete with paddle, backrest and Buoyancy Aid. Wetsuits are available free of charge upon request. Our kayaks are available to hire from Keyhaven at high tide, which varies each day. For this reason, pre-booking in advance is essential. Please select the number of single kayaks you would require when booking. If you require a double kayak please book these separately.
