West Solent Experience We have been asked many times about paddle boarding to the Isle of Wight and the Needles Lighthouse and if it is possible. Now we are able to say yes! In association with Hurst Marine we are now excited to be able to offer The West Solent Experience! This is a truly unique experience you won't find anywhere else. A chance to paddle along the iconic West Solent coastline to the Needles Rocks and Light House all with the safety of an experienced instructor and powerboat support. ​Your experience starts at Keyhaven Quay where you will meet your instructor and will board the boat for the short journey across to the island. Once at Colwell Bay you will disembark and start your stunning paddle along the coastline towards the Needles taking in the different bays and sights along the way. The experience will give you a chance to paddle round the stacks of the needles before landing at Scratchels bay before the powerboat return journey. Due to the nature of this paddle we require you to be a competent paddler with a BSUPA Ready to Ride Certificate or equivalent from another teaching organisation or sea paddling experience. £225 per person. This is includes: Paddleboard, Paddle & Buoyancy Aid - Boards will already be loaded upon your arrival. Boat trip across Hurst Narrows to Colwell Bay Safety boat on stand by throughout the experience Guided paddle from Colwell Bay along the West Solent Plenty of photo opportunities Boat trip back to Keyhaven £50 Deposit required upon booking unless booked with gift voucher This is an Adult Only experience. We require a minimum of 4 paddlers for the experience to run with a maximum of 6 and weather and tide conditions to be suitable. The experience starts at 7:30am and finishes 1pm approx
