WEDGE

The New Edge

The all new Wedge line upgrades the previous range of Wide Point boards. These boards have a pro performance and feel without compromising stability or volume. All boards are 32’’ wide to provide oat and stability for heavier riders to rip. This is a versatile range for big to small conditions, best suited for beginner and intermediate riders.

Board Sizes

8’7″ x 32″ / 143L

Length: 8’7” / 262 cm

Width: 32” / 81 cm

Shorter, stable and sensitive. The thinner rails make the board respond and feel like a narrower board, sharing a similar characteristic to the much loved Airborn and Longboard ranges. The 8’7” really is the stable high-performance shortboard for those that want to rip yet have enough to make sessions longer.

Available constructions:

  • Blue Carbon

  • Starlite

  • Limited Series

9’2″ x 32″ / 160L

Length: 9’2” / 279 cm

Width: 32” / 81 cm

A favorite in the testing and development, it turned heads with its control and responsiveness. The 9’2” is so much more responsive to turn as the thinner rails requires less foot pressure to initiate turns. Ultra reactive and sensitive.

Available constructions:

  • Blue Carbon

  • Starlite

  • Limited Series

10’2″ x 32″ / 183L

Length: 10’2” / 310 cm

Width: 32” / 81 cm

Fast, reactive and controlled; the stable surfing all-rounder. A great option for those wanting the glide for cruising, solid stability from the width and improved surfing performance with the new shape upgrades.

Available constructions:

  • Blue Carbon

  • Starlite

  • Limited Series

11’2″ x 32″ / 198L

Length: 11’2” / 340 cm

Width: 32” / 81 cm

An extra stable ride with easy glide for longer distance paddles and early entry into waves. Widely accessible for riders up to 115kg wanting a stable board to learn with progression in smaller surf.

ARE YOU READY TO SURF LIKE A PRO, YET HAVE THE EASE AND COMFORT FROM A WIDER BOARD?

SUP BOARDER MAGAZINE SAYS

We were blown away by the performance capabilities of the Wedge. The board feels a lot smaller and compact than the specifications make it out to be and this is because of the pulled in tail, consistent rocker line, bottom contours and the thinner rail pro le. The Wedge could well be a SUP surfing quiver killer for beginner to intermediate SUP surfers.

SUP INTERNATIONAL MAGAZINE SAYS

This 9’2” Wedge demonstrates the best hiding of volume we’ve yet experienced, both on sight and on the water. In surf with some energy, the easy take-off gives way to a smooth, rail-engaged bottom turn happily free from the clatter and excess speed that trouble some wider surf shapes. The tail response is light and the Wedge responds like a board 20 litres smaller. This board is a wave-burglar without equal. If high wave count, time on the wave and fool-proof stability in a board that behaves as a surfboard should are what you’re looking for, the Wedge is it.

NARROW NOSE OUTLINE

The narrow nose outline helps you generate speed, limits the nose from catching through turns and fits in tighter pockets in the wave.

THIN RAIL PROFILE

Thinner rails on the 8’7” and 9’2” gives the Wedge its pro level performance with faster surfing speeds, better grip, and turning capabilities. The thinner rails are inspired by the much loved Longboard range for the ultra-responsive and reactive feel.
